Why not try to climb Snowdon?Welsh Narrow gauge railways – the Ffestiniog railway and Snowdon mountain railway provide a nostalgic way to explore the mountains and are great for little fans of Thomas the Tank engine.The Italianate village of Portmerion, Harlech Castle, Beddgelert & Welsh slate mines are all close by with day trips to Anglesey and various National Trust properties available.
