Nestled within Cambrian Mountains in Snowdonia National Park, Lord Buckleys former coach house has fishing rights on the River Dyfi which runs through adjoining field. the interesting market towns of Dolgellau and Machynlleth are about 20 minutes by car, while the coast, a little further, offers a wide choice of lovely beaches, and golf courses. The area offers rural peace and tranquility and is the ideal base for walkers of all capabilities, with challenging peaks of Aran Fawddwy and Cader Idris.In the village is the Meiron Mill craft shop and cafe, restaurant and welcoming friendly pubs. A little further afield are the Centre for Alternative Technology, narrow-gauge railways, RSPB reserves, leisure centres, pony trekking, quad biking, Coed-y-Brenin mountain biking centre and shooting.
