The cottage is ideally situated to visit nearby Marlborough, Avebury, Kennet and Avon Canal, Salisbury Plain and Savernake Forest. Also Lacock, Bowood House, Longleat House and Safari Park, Bath and Stonehenge are only an hour's drive away. Pewsey (3 miles) has a leisure centre, shops, petrol station, pubs, restaurants and mainline train station to Paddington.
