It is conveniently situated to visit Durham City, Killhope Lead Mining Centre, the Lake District, Hexham and Hadrians Wall. It is an ideal base to chill out, - explore our dramatic landscapes,- watch birds and wildlife,- discover the lead mining and geological heritage, - or just experience tranquillity.
