Stonechat a semi-detached beach cottage is situated in a quiet valley, 30 yards from the beach at Polzeath, ideally situated for surfing and other beach activity. Also nearby is golf, walking, sailing, fishing, all sorts, and a wealth of good quality attractions and historic houses and gardens. The Cottage is set in a lane just off Polzeath beach, leading to the medieval Shilla Mill. Beyond the mill there are footpaths to Trebetherick, Trevanger and Roserrow Golf and Country Club which also has swimming pool, sauna and beauty salon. On the opposite side of the valley are Shilla Mill Woods, ancient woodlands which are designated as being of outstanding local significance and which are referred to in several of Sir John Betjeman's poems.Eden Project half hours drive .The area is known for an abundance of excellent public houses and eateries including Rick Steins famous Restaurant and Bistro inPadstow just half hours drive or one hours walk and water taxi.Famous Camel Cycle Trail 7 miles.<b>Recent comment from a happy customer "Fantastic time, immaculately clean, very comfortable & homely.
