The property is situated in Wellington, a small country town, which stands between the River Tone and the beautiful Blackdown Hills, and is easily accessed off junction 26 of the M5 motorway. The house provides a superb base for a wide range of activities including walking, cycling, golf, swimming, bird watching and caving. Ideal for exploring Wells Cathedral, Glastonbury Tor, National Trust properties, English Heritage sites, Mendip Path, Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge, cider farms and vinemeters, with Bath, Longleat and the Somerset Levels all within easy reach. Wellington has a large number of speciality shops, including gift shops, and craft shops. Local meats and cheeses are available, and there is an excellent fishmongers. A farmers market is held every third Saturday of the month. There are also several pubs, restaurants, cafes, along with 2 major supermarkets. All these facilities are less than 5 minutes walk away.
